“I know how important it is for families and communities to be better informed of the challenges people with learning disabilities face,” said director Sarah Entine, MSW. “This guide is part of our ongoing effort to bring this conversation into the mainstream.”

The comprehensive 40-page guide includes interactive, creative ways for parents, educators, and other groups to easily engage with the complex issues surrounding dyslexia and other learning differences. It also includes additional support materials including myths and misconceptions about learning disabilities (LD), questions for therapists to consider, strategies for what works to address LD, and lists for identifying LD and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children and adults.
